Today, I want to share my go-to brands for Jiu Jitsu clothing, because let’s be honest, having the right gear can make a huge difference in our training.

Right now, I’ve got a collection of 6 Gis, and 5 of these are from Tatami Fightwear and I love them. Now let me share a little more about my favourite brands.

Best Jiu Jitsu Gis

I’ve been using Tatami Gis for a while now, and I can’t get enough of them. They’re not just stylish, but the material? Super reliable.

Each design has its own unique flair, making me feel like I’m not just ready for training but ready for a Jiu Jitsu fashion show (if that’s a thing!).

The best part? The prices are incredibly accessible. You get this amazing quality without breaking the bank, and they look and feel fantastic in action. My pink Gi was only £49.50!

Best Jiu Jitsu Rash Guards

For rash guards, my go-to has been Flow Gear, a newer brand on the scene but definitely making waves. Owned by Steve Jones, a 1st Degree Black Belt under Roger Gracie, Flow Gear brings 22 years of Jiu Jitsu experience into its design.

Steve, who got his Black Belt in 2016 after 16 years of dedication, started his journey in London in 2000 with Roger’s father, Master Mauricio Gomes and now he shares his passion with a dedicated group of students at RGA Chester.

Flow Gear 23 is not just another brand; it’s a celebration of the dynamic and spirited world of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and surfing. Their rash guards are more than just apparel; they’re a statement of passion and lifestyle.

Each piece is crafted with meticulous attention to quality and design, ensuring they’re not only visually striking but also durable and comfortable.

They’re perfect for those who live and breathe the flow of BJJ or surfing, offering a unique blend of style and functionality.

It’s a brand that truly understands and embodies the essence of these sports, making it a go-to choice for enthusiasts.

The rash guards designs are strikingly modern, and the material is top-notch. I’ve washed mine numerous times, and the colour is as vibrant as ever with no signs of wear and tear, which is saying something since I hit the gym three times a week for two hours at a stretch.

I’m eagerly waiting to see what new designs Flow Gear will come up with next! And also, some exciting news for all you Gi lovers out there – Flow Gear is branching out!

They’re not just about rash guards and shorts anymore. They’re stepping into the world of Gis, and you bet I’ve already pre-ordered mine.

I have a soft spot for black Gis, and when I saw their black and yellow design that perfectly matches my Flow Gear Rash Guard, I just had to grab it.

The anticipation is real, and I can’t wait to see how this new venture turns out for Flow Gear. For a more detailed look, check out their website: Flow Gear 23.

Jiu Jitsu Streetwear

In addition to exploring various brands, I’ve taken my passion for Jiu Jitsu a step further by creating my own brand of Jiu Jitsu streetwear, Arte Suave. Check it out here.

My love for Jiu Jitsu and street fashion, combined with a dash of Brazilian heritage, has inspired me to create this unique line.

I’m thrilled to be designing Jiu Jitsu-themed off-the-mat outfits that blend the rich history of the sport with a contemporary and fun approach.

Each piece in the Arte Suave collection reflects my passion for the sport and its lifestyle, making it more than just clothing – it’s a representation of the Jiu Jitsu journey.

Why I highly Recommend These Brands

So, there you have it, my top picks for Jiu Jitsu clothing. Both Tatami Fightwear and Flow Gear have truly blown me away with their exceptional quality, style, and steady dedication to the sport.

It’s evident in every stitch and design choice that these brands aren’t just about creating clothes; they’re about crafting a Jiu Jitsu experience.

Their gear isn’t just about looking sharp on the mat. It’s about enduring the intense, demanding nature of Jiu Jitsu training.

The resilience, comfort, and style of their products make them indispensable for any serious practitioner.

Now, let’s take a deeper dive into this fascinating world of Jiu Jitsu gear. We’ve talked about Tatami Fightwear and Flow Gear, but there’s so much more to explore.

Each brand brings its own unique flavour to the table, combining functionality with a touch of personality.

Whether it’s the durability, the sleek designs, or the way they make you feel part of something bigger, these brands are more than just clothing lines – they’re a key part of our Jiu Jitsu journey.

In the vast world of BJJ gear, it’s not just about the physical products; it’s also about the experience.

This includes user-friendly websites for ease of ordering and access to a wide range of products, from single weave to double weave Gis. This level of service is part of what makes these brands stand out.

Apart from Gis, many top brands are now offering new shirts and other Jiu Jitsu gear, designed for both on and off the mat.

These products embody the spirit of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, combining functionality with style. Whether you’re in the gym or just hanging out, these brands help you represent your love for the sport.

The best Jiu Jitsu Gi brands understand that the key to great work in BJJ lies in the quality of your gear.

Using high-quality materials, these brands ensure that their Gis, whether single or double weave, can withstand the pressure of intense training sessions. This commitment to quality is what keeps practitioners coming back.

One of the perks of shopping with the best selling BJJ brands is the benefits they offer, like free shipping.

This service is often provided with the sole purpose of enhancing customer satisfaction, making it easier and more affordable for practitioners worldwide to get their hands on good quality Jiu-Jitsu clothing.

Interestingly, some brands have carved out a niche for themselves by catering to the “bad boys” of the BJJ community.

Ah, those Bad Boy shorts, right? Even though I wasn’t into Jiu-Jitsu myself, I couldn’t help but be drawn to them.

Back in Brazil, when I was a teenager, these shorts were everything in the Jiu-Jitsu scene. They were more than just a fashion statement; they were a symbol, a piece of the Jiu-Jitsu legacy.

That iconic Bad Boy logo? It was like a badge of the cool crowd. Those shorts were more than just sports gear; they were a symbol of a fighting spirit that even a non-practitioner like me wanted to embody.

These brands offer designs and styles that are bold and edgy, reflecting the fierce spirit of many Brazilian Jiu Jitsu practitioners.

In my journey as a martial artist, I’ve discovered a variety of brands offering a variety of Gis. For instance, Shoyroll and Reorg are known for their high-quality Gis.

They offer everything from lightweight Gis, which are perfect for a training session in hot climates, to double and gold weave Gis, which provide a full range of motion and durability.

These brands have become a popular choice in the BJJ community, offering both great quality and unique designs.

For those who love exclusive offers and limited edition gear, keep an eye out for Black Friday deals and latest arrivals from top brands like Kingz Gis.

These brands often release unique Gis and rash guards, catering to the personal style of each BJJ enthusiast. It’s not just about functionality; it’s about expressing your individuality on the mats.

Choosing the right gear is crucial, not just for comfort but also for enhancing your performance. Brands like Gold BJJ, Tatami Fightwear, and Fuji Sports understand the rigors of training and the need for a well-fitting Gi.

Whether it’s their GSM pearl weave or their lightweight Gis, they provide excellent customer service to ensure you find the best fit for your BJJ journey.

Being a part of the BJJ community is about more than just buying gear. It’s about voluntary compliance with the ethos of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, sharing experiences, and learning from each other.

Finding the best BJJ gi brand is about more than just the product; it’s about the entire experience.

Until next time, enjoy the journey, take advantage of the free shipping, and remember, the right gear is a key part of your success in BJJ.
